Proudly owned and operated by the City of Unley for residents and the wider metropolitan area, the facility consists of an 8 lane heated 50m pool, junior pool, toddlers pool, shaded lawns, café and operates an extended season for 9 months of the year.About the roleWe are seeking a casual Swimming Instructor to deliver swimming lessons and water safety education to children and adults. You will ensure participants develop skills appropriate to their level in a safe and supportive environment. Availability Requirements

  • Availability to work a minimum of 2 to 3 shifts per week
  • Monday to Thursday 4pm to 6pm
  • Must include at least one weekend shift

Essential Requirements

  • Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certification
  • Current Provide First Aid Certification
  • Current Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
  • Current Reporting Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certification
  • Availability to work a minimum of 2 to 3 shifts per week

Desirable Attributes / Qualifications

  • Ability to work across multiple areas within the centre
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Award certification
  • Additional certifications (e.g., Group Fitness, Aquarobics, Personal Training)
  • Food handling and safety certification
